Wightwick – A Casual Cruise - 26 Locks

Day 1:

Boat collection at 2pm, leave base by 4pm and head north towards Wolverhampton. Cruise for 2 hours passing through 5 locks to the Wagon and Horses public house.

Day 2:

11am start, cruise for 4 hours passing through 7 locks including the famous Bratch locks arriving at Wightwick visitor moorings at approximately 3pm.

Overnight on moorings.

Day 3:

11am start, Turn boat at winding hole north of lock 29 and cruise for 6 hours passing through 12 locks arriving at Hinksford at 5pm.

Day 4:

Move boat back to Wharf and Depart boat by 9am.

Please note that these are only example routes. You are responsible for your own itinerary. Please make sure that you take into allowance things like late arrivals, level of traffic on the canal, lock waits and mooring availability.
